Ankabut is the United Arab Emirates Advanced Network for Research and Education that facilitates the development and use of next-generation research networks and the applications and services that run on them. Ankabut promotes collaboration among key sector and partners with innovators around the world to deliver social, cultural, and economic benefits to the UAE.

The Advanced Network for Research and Education is developed and operated by Ankabut and is supported by its members, project partners, the ICT Fund and managed by Khalifa University.

Benefits of membership include involvement in the development of advanced network technology and the related information infrastructure in the UAE and around the world, leadership and mentoring opportunities, networking and public relations opportunities, notice of funding opportunities, access to Ankabut publications, invitations to Users’ Meeting, awards ceremonies and workshops.
